My passion is working with adults (especially black women and men - BIPOC) to help them to embrace and value themselves, and navigate life’s transitions & adversities. I work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-worth/self-esteem, grief/loss, trauma, co-dependency, maternal mental health, co-parenting, & a host of other issues. I love to help my clients find their voice, set boundaries with themselves & others, & learn to love themselves holistically!
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore their thoughts & feelings, & how they affect their behavior. I also use Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS) to help clients explore the different parts of themselves in order to achieve balance & harmony & I help clients re-parent themselves to gain what they lacked in childhood.
I strive to provide a safe and open space for my clients to explore their inner thoughts, feelings, and traumas. I offer a non-judgmental atmosphere, with a person-centered approach, meaning your sessions will be client-led and based on your specific needs at that time.
