The client and I are partners in developing the skills necessary for managing the stresses of life while determining what a meaningful life looks like for them. Although we look at the past to learn from it, the client and I generally focus on the present and future and the unique strengths of the client. This collaborative model of therapy aids the client in taking more control of their life.
This collaborative model is valuable in dealing with life transitions (change of a career, marriage, retirement, divorce), family issues, anxiety, depression and with achieving life satisfaction at all ages. I also have the certification of a clinical trauma professional. My work with clients who live with chronic pain is also a speciality.
In addition to therapy, I also provide a separate service for life coaching. My extensive business experience is valuable in life coaching. Life coaching is often the best vehicle for some clients due to their time demands. It has varying formats (cost, frequency, mode of connecting) based on the individual needs of the client.
