I have been in the mental health and addiction field for 30 years. My approach is to "meet the client where they are at". I will work in partnership with you to help you to achieve your goals, while showing you the respect and trust you are looking for to empower you to move toward positive emotional health. I will help you to explore how past life circumstances has and is affecting you in the present and provide you with tools that will help you to be happy and healthy as an individual and in your relationships.

GH Recovery Solutions is a private drug and alcohol rehab providing intervention and treatment services to those suffering from substance use, and individuals with co-occurring mental health issues. My goal is to help my clients identify and meet their own needs, whether to address a specific emerging issue, to manage existing mental health challenges, or to just gain a greater sense of peace and serenity in their lives.

I believe that men are faced with conflicting expectations in our society that can lead them to feel frustrated, misunderstood and isolated. They are expected to be strong yet gentle, fierce yet sensitive, protective but not overbearing. Sometimes men get stuck in one role and cannot transition to another as the situation changes. My goal is to coach you on developing new strategies for addressing these issues and to help you break destructive patterns. While I focus on men's issues, all of my experience and techniques work with people in all walks of life and lifestyles.

I think the ideal client is someone who is motivated to change. I am a practitioner of positive psychology and believe that every person has tremendous resources and just needs to discover these gifts. I think the Psychologist must build upon assets and strengths. I think that humans can build pyramids or travel to the moon when given the right encouragement and belief.
