We all experience challenges throughout our lives. My person-centered approach allows you to discuss what is meaningful to you. I support adults who wish to build confidence, renew self-esteem, and develop the practical skills and resources necessary to heal from the pain of traumatic and adverse life experiences. Over 15 years of experience supporting people challenged by health issues, family issues, neurodivergence, and grief/ loss has given me a wealth of knowledge. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, an evidenced based treatment, effective in healing trauma and other conditions which may stem from difficult life experiences. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help with exploring thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and Mindfulness techniques for stress management.

Groups
Neuroscience based therapy
Learn and practice skills to cope with life's challenges in a supportive, professionally facilitated psychoeducation group. Pre-screened adults meet weekly near the Lacey transit center. Each one-hour class is part of a 10-session rotating curriculum. The evidence-based curricula include Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, communication, and Letting Go. Group psychoeducation blends multiple modalities to change unwanted thoughts and habits in a socially supportive environment. To complement the group therapy, participants are expected to have individual therapy sessions at least monthly with a provider of their choice.
