About
Counseling takes time, effort, and courage. Once you experience the benefits, it is a life-changing process. If you are ready to take this brave step, I seek to honor your trust. My counseling style is a blend of compassionate listening and direct communication, with the ultimate goal of imparting healthy responses to times of stress, anxiety, grief, depression, transition, and mental health valleys. I specialize in viewing both the historic, present, and future context of you as a unique individual within your relationships, school, career and family systems.
With 15 years experience in a school setting, I have worked with thousands of children, and hundreds of families and individuals. My background in schools keeps things real and my own experience as a mom helps me stay client-focused and humbled. I seek to create partnerships, in which we can collaborate to build-up strengths for real-life application.
