The best way I can describe myself is to use music. I believe music really IS the soundtrack to our lives but it can also express things we may not have the words ourselves. It speaks to our mood and what is happening in our lives or the world for that matter. I feel I am a nice mix of every genre; I find a commonality within me with each genre of music, much like people. I feel I can find our common ground and we will work well together. Just some of the tools you can expect from me will be active listening, role playing, and using the tools you already bring to the session which we will identify.
My initial goal is to help you feel good about being here. To validate you on making the decision to make you a priority. This is not always easy for most of us. I hope that over a brief time you will look forward to coming to therapy and feel confident about yourself and your future.
I am not here to ‘fix’ you. I believe I can offer different perspectives, choices, or different solutions to some of your difficulties. You will be the one to make the decision or choice to try them. I will keep you personally in mind when exploring methods with you to assist you on your journey.
