About

Hello Prospective Client. I welcome you to the process of Talk Therapy. I have invested considerable time, from both my studies and life experiences, to have the opportunity to sit with you. As a Licensed Psychologist, my job is to help you discover the hidden parts of yourself, both the pleasant and even the unpleasant (which can sometimes be the most meaningful). I have helped a diverse group of people of varying ages and life experiences.
I am an integrated therapist who uses depth approaches and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I listen to what you are saying and "not saying" while incorporating research-based interventions (and real-world examples) in facilitating change. I employ approaches using music, film, age-old wisdom, and Spirituality.
I am a Durham native and have practiced both here and in the Washington, D.C. area for the last decade. You can find additional information about my clinical experience below; and if you decide that I am the clinician for you, I look forward to being an active participant in your Journey for Change.
