Are you a creative or artist who is struggling with sleep? You're not alone. Many creatives and artists experience sleep problems, which can have a negative impact on their work, their relationships, and their overall health. If you're not getting enough sleep, you may find it difficult to focus, to be creative, and to make decisions. You may also be more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. The good news is that there are things you can do to improve your sleep. Therapy can be a helpful tool for addressing the underlying causes of sleep problems and for developing healthy sleep habits.
I can help you develop healthy sleep habits and manage stress so that you can get the rest you need to be your best creative self. I offer a variety of therapy techniques, including dance/movement therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), person centered therapy, psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.
I understand that the creative process can be both exhilarating and exhausting, and that it's important to find a balance between work and rest. If you're ready to get the rest you need so you can focus on your creativity, I encourage you to reach out to me. I would be happy to discuss your options and to help you.
