Have you experienced extensive trauma? Helping others find healing has always been a passion of mine. I've worked in many settings working primarily with teens, young adults, women and all marginalized groups. I’m strongly committed to helping individuals find relief from life’s challenges by providing a safe, supportive and caring environment. I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety and depression, parenting challenges, self-worth, life transitions and working with the LGBTQIA+ communities. My approach is offering support and guidance through the therapeutic process, and helping my clients find their inner strength and confidence.
I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach focusing on aspects of trauma-informed interventions, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based modalities, while taking into careful consideration the importance of cultural concerns and practices.
I believe we all have the potential to make changes to better ourselves and our lives. As a therapist, I will strive to provide guidance, respect and understanding in helping my clients work through their individual life challenges.
