About
Hi, I'm Raychel! I am passionate about working with disordered eating and helping people of all genders, sizes, and races have a normalized relationship with food and their bodies. I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and have spent over 4 years treating eating disorders in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. In addition to working with eating disorders, I am passionate about equality and love working with trans and non-binary folx. I believe that approaching the uncomfortable areas of life helps us move forward and not stay stuck where we are.
I blend mind, body, and spirit as I believe all three are important for true healing. I use yoga and mindfulness as well as other somatic practices to address eating and body concerns, as well as all other concerns. I utilize EMDR for trauma and to help get you past limiting negative beliefs. I also use CBT and REBT to address thoughts that hold you back.
True healing takes time, care, and attention. I see you holistically and intersectionally and will work with you to address your needs and meet your goals. Recovery, in whatever ways are important to you, is possible! I would love to be a part of your recovery and healing journey.
