I have a passion for conducting therapy with individuals across the lifespan – children, adolescents and adults. I am trilingual (English, Punjabi and Hindi). I work with children/adolescents and families to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, hoarding, grief/loss and addiction. I also do couples counseling, family therapy and parent coaching. I also work with women with postpartum depression. I particularly enjoy working with folks who identify as LGBTQIA+ and refugees.
I view my work with clients from a systemic perspective, looking at how the larger context shapes families’ lives (e.g., cultural background, societal factors, etc). I have a passion for helping clients advocate for their needs, whether that be in the context of school, work or the larger community.
I strongly believe in incorporating a client’s cultural context into therapy and have experience working with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. I work to build a strong relationship with each of my clients, and am honored to sit with them and help them work through their struggles and celebrate their successes.
