I’m a clinical psychologist with a B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.A. and Ph.D. from the City College of New York. Prior to completing my doctorate, I worked at Columbia University’s Barnard Toddler Center, conducted research at Columbia Medical Center’s Perinatal Pathways Lab, and taught undergraduate courses in child psychology at the City University of New York. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, with rotations in the PTSD Clinic, Primary Care Clinic and Women's Clinic.
I draw on psychodynamic and relational theory, with a pragmatic openness to integrative techniques, including mindfulness-based, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and transference-focused psychotherapies. I have also completed trainings in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, contemplative psychotherapy and dream analysis.
My approach is collaborative, heart-centered and grounded in the conviction that healing and growth emerge through insight and meaning.
