Life comes with many challenges but seeking help should not be one of them. When you are struggling to make it to tomorrow, finding a therapist that best fits your needs is important. Those who experience anxiety and depression can have a challenging time processing and accepting their emotions. You no longer have to navigate daily stressors alone. As a therapist, I want to facilitate a safe space where you can explore your inner thoughts and feelings, process your traumas, and begin to understand and accept yourself. I know it takes significant effort to be here, and I hope you choose to make me part of your therapeutic journey.
It is easy to surrender to past trauma or let our current situations control our emotions and behavior. My approach to therapy is eclectic, using a mix of person-centered, psychodynamic, and CBT to target each client’s needs. I want you to learn about your strengths and develop a sense of self-awareness to help you combat life’s challenges on your own terms.
Coming from an Indo-Caribbean family, I recognize the stigma surrounding mental health and how, culturally, it affects our lives in different ways.
