I love what I do.....I have been doing it for 28 years.....I am the kind of therapist that understands the value of psychotherapy because I have been a client at different times in my life. I know that we all need a safe place to talk, in which confidentiality is as important as feeling accepted. I love working with clients that are dealing with a variety of anxiety disorders as well as people with self esteem issues including people that seems to have a need to please others. I am passionate about Integrative Breathwork and Transpersonal Psychology in which we explore the needs of the mind body and spirit. Fluent in Spanish.
As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.
I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals. However, I do not specialize in every issue that is brought to therapy. Therefore, I will provide a suitable referral if needed.

Integrative Breathwork
Integrative Breathwork is a powerful, experiential method of self-exploration through experiencing non-ordinary states of consciousness. In the work, a combination of accelerated breathing, evocative music, and bodywork, facilitate the release of unresolved memories and emotions. The aim of this method is to bypass the intellect and to open the psyche into expanded states of consciousness, bringing the participants into balance, healing and insight. The sessions are conducted in group settings. Participants work in pairs and alternate roles as breathers and sitters. The process is supervised by trained facilitators assisting participants whenever special intervention is necessary.
