She received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Tara has also earned Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE).

As a recent college graduate, I understand the anxiety associated with academic performance. I am familiar with many forms of anxiety including sports performance, relationships, interfamilial dynamics, LGBTQ+ issues, and childhood trauma.
