Being vulnerable and asking for help with personal problems is not always the easiest thing to do. I am dedicated and committed to making a change that aims to empower and strengthen, individuals, families, and couples. I specialize in treating relationship communication problems, depression and anxiety, adjustment to divorce and separation, parenting concerns and addiction. As an experienced counselor, I have had an opportunity to work with those who have struggled with a variety of problems and concerns. I have an ability to remain open to many perspectives and feel that this is an important tool when resolving communication issues.
I enjoy challenges and will work diligently with each individual in an insightful and caring way. I am patient in my work with couples as they make attempts at solving long term, ongoing, high conflict problems.
I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor who has worked with those who are suffering from addiction for over 10 years. Addiction can be very difficult for couples and families to recover from. This type of work takes time, patience and a unique understanding.
