Adolescence is a time of profound exploration, creativity and transformation. This developmental task can be difficult, confusing and isolating for any young person. For our queer and trans young people growing up in a trans antagonistic world, the challenges can feel insurmountable. You are not alone! I believe relationships are powerful tools for transformation and healing. I am a clinical social worker specializing in psychotherapy for queer, trans and gender creative adolescents and young adults. It would be an honor to get to know you through this work.
I have worked in the field of mental health since 2015 and received my MSW in 2021 from Smith School for Social Work. I work with a spectrum of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, shame, feelings of stuckness, dissociation, visions and hallucinations, racial trauma, C-PTSD, coming out and transition, religious trauma, migration trauma and self harm.
At the center of my work is the belief that each of us has a right to self determination. I am committed to seeing you as a whole person and not as a pathology.
