I believe that therapy is about discovering, understanding, and embracing the authentic self that lives within each of us. Sometimes things happen to us in life that can make this process difficult, and it can be even more challenging to share our life experiences with another person. I believe in creating an open, judgment-free, client-focused and driven environment in which people from all backgrounds and cultures feel safe, motivated, and ultimately free to be themselves.
As a psychotherapist, I use an eclectic, evidence-based approach including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), existential therapy, and mindfulness to help people experiencing anxiety, depression, various forms of trauma, school and work-related issues, grief, and transition. I offer both in-person and virtual services.
Establishing a meaningful connection with your therapist is vital, as the processes of self-discovery and change are collaborations between the two of us. It is my aim to become your strongest advocate and guide. I look forward to working with you on your path toward discovery, healing, and self-sustained change.
