Therapy with Randy Reed is for anyone who would like to establish more of a helping relationship with themselves and their experience. I have a map of things we need to cover so you can feel more in control and able to be there for yourself, especially when you’re suffering or vulnerable to behaving in impulsive/habitual ways that you would prefer to change. Our therapy can build your skills for bringing self-compassion and helping relationship to parts of the self that are trying to get your needs met in ways that may be harsh, rigid, or unhelpful, sometimes due to emotional trauma.
Clients say I am “different” from other therapists in that it feels more like we are “having a back and forth conversation.” My style is relational, and active with psycho-education and skill-building. I make effort to meet clients where they’re at in terms of what they would like to get ouf of each session, and am good at rolling with whatever comes up
For examples of my influencers, please check out Youtube videos by Kristin Neff, Tara Brach, and Richard Schwartz. Please check that I accept your insurance and reach out via email or phone if interested, along with a word about why you are seeking therapy. My caseload is full as of 10/8/24, but feel welcome to inquire about a short wait list.
