Men process grief, depression, relationships, anxiety, stress, and other challenges, differently. Men heal from these challenges uniquely too. Brothers Counseling offers therapy specialized for men and boys. Therapy is available in three modes: Individuals, Groups, and uniquely Fathers and Sons. Find strength, confidence, clarity, and healthy masculinity at Brothers Counseling. Most emotional pain stems from negative core beliefs and destructive self-talk. When men courageously examine those negative beliefs, they come to see them merely as a child’s misunderstanding. From that gracious place healing and hope occurs.
No childhood or adult experience defines you as unworthy. You can come to believe in your value as a man, worthy just as you are. We have all behaved badly at times, but at Brothers Counseling you are seen as capable, worthy and valuable from the first moment to the last. Our goal will be to help you create your own sense of honorable and generative manhood.
Therapy services focus on helping you restore a robust belief in your self-worth and your value as a man. This includes learning to think and act differently. We will do this work by seeing negative core beliefs as Father or Mother Wounds and by engaging male archetypes (King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover). You bring the courage and I’ll bring acceptance.

Groups
Nice Guy Recovery Group
Many men lie, hide, forgo their needs, and a host of other strategies, just to feel accepted and get their needs met. Robert Glover coined this the "Nice Guy Syndrome." Nice Guys don't believe that their needs matter and that they are not welcome in the world just as they are. For those men trying to recover from the Nice Guy Syndrome, there are two twice-per-month therapy groups. The groups meets in person, 6:30 pm, on Wednesdays. The groups are open by invitation. Contact Randy Cook for more information.
