Adulting is tough, no doubt about it. We are faced with many challenges that we don't feel equipped to handle. Often times we feel isolated and lonely in our lives and find relationships to be a challenge. Sometimes we need to know we aren't the only ones who feel scared and inadequate. We need tools to help us work through the thoughts that can keep us stuck and unhappy. Finding a way to tolerate the distress and discomfort we struggle with can set us free in a lot of ways. I work best with adult clients who are feeling overwhelmed, isolated, ashamed. Individuals who feel they are lazy or not good enough, who have an internal dialogue that is not-so-nice to themselves. I also see couples who are feeling disconnected and lonely within their relationships or feel like they are speaking different languages.
