I’ve seen how difficult it can be to talk about things like depression, anxiety, and yes, that big word, trauma. There can be an expectation that, as a Christian, you shouldn’t struggle and you definitely shouldn’t need a therapist to help you. I want to break that stigma with you, and show you how God actually designed us to heal within community and personal relationships, including, and maybe especially, therapeutic ones. I have worked with Nevada DCFS for the past four years but my general history of working with teens and families spans the last decade. I have found that many symptoms can be linked to past trauma and stress. I utilize interventions EMDR and IFS so that I can quickly identify and treat symptoms at their root and full healing can occur.

In our first session, it is my aim to help you feel welcomed and heard. My primary goal as a Christian therapist is to connect, not correct. I want to understand your journey thus far and meet you wherever you are without judgement. A spiritual element is not required.
