I believe in an empowerment approach, focusing on my client's strengths while also allowing space to focus on processing life's difficulties. I work with children and adolescents ages 6-18 who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or relational challenges that interfere with their daily life, development, or well-being.
I specialize in play, trauma and autism. I hold a certification in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).
I work best with youth whose caregivers are open to participating in the therapeutic process. This may include parenting sessions, family sessions, or collaborative work to reinforce progress at home. My ideal client may come from a family that is feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to best support their child or teen, but they are motivated to seek change.
