As a therapist, I help people work through major changes and transitions. This could be anything from a relationship ending, to the death of a family member, friend or spouse, from a loss or change of work, to a move or relocation. I have experience working with people who are facing illness and death, either their own, or that of their loved ones. I am here to help clients process and feelings of helplessness, fear, anxiety, depression and grief.
My specialty is grief and loss and I have worked in hospice settings, community mental health, and a variety of other private and public clinics. I am trained in EMDR, and use it when appropriate.
My approach to therapy is LGBTQ+-affirming and trauma-informed. I work with individuals, and couples, including those who are looking to consciously uncouple.
