Managing one's life and dealing with transitions takes on a whole new meaning in times like these, but can still be effectively accomplished. My diverse practice (teens, adults, professionals, students) allows me to work with varied backgrounds, cultures & education levels. I have had success with treating with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship & family issues through behavioral changes, insight, re-gaining perspective (especially now) & goal adjustments. A strong and effective partnership between therapist and client is still important. I also believe that humor can be a handy secret weapon can be useful.
I'm a good listener. Managing emotions, improving life skills, relationships, academics & careers can be addressed with a focused process and practical approach. Improved motivation & self confidence are desired outcomes. Tools like mindfulness practices offer immediate help. I have a down to earth approach and have helped those who haven't tried therapy.
My life experiences with individuals, families and acquaintances from all ages, cultures and economic levels and professions have shaped me. My Miami roots have allowed me to learn from these differences and find common ground and understanding. I try to be practical and authentic with a good listening ear with lots of empathy.
