I specialize in evaluating and treating emotional disorders (depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, etc.) using semi-structured protocols that are typically completed in 12–16 sessions.
I have a special interest in working with college and graduate students and have experience in college counseling centers.
Our first 2–3 sessions will focus on diagnostic clarification and treatment planning using questionnaires, a standardized clinical interview, brief measures, and the PAI+ —a 344-item measure typically used only in formal psychological testing. We will then discuss the results and select a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
I have advanced training in the cognitive behavioral tradition, as well as several other evidence-based semi-structured treatment protocols and approaches. I also have training in psychedelic-assisted therapy and provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and ketamine treatment in close collaboration with a medical provider.
Perhaps the most important thing to know about me is that I believe my job is to help you reach the point where you do not need a psychologist any longer. My style in therapy is non-judgmental, compassionate, and relaxed. Humor plays a large role in how I relate to people, so it is usually incorporated in session.
