Hello, my name is Randall Baird, and I am a licensed marriage family therapist. My primary specialty is trauma; however, I also work with individuals addressing various mood disorders and life struggles. I am compassionate and caring, and I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy coupled with solution-focused therapy to help my clients achieve the desired outcome in therapy. I have a fairly extensive background working with individuals who suffer from some form of trauma in their background. I also work with individuals trying to address relationship issues, both familial and intimate.
I use a softer tone with a calming environment to help my clients feel more at ease in therapy, and more willing to open up and explore their presenting issue(s). My clients have informed me that I am easy to talk too and able to put them at ease without feeling judged in therapy.
When a client first seeks treatment with me, I try to find out what the client's ultimate goal is for therapy, and then create goals that the client has predetermined before entering therapy.
