As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I can assist with gaining new insights for positive self-growth in a warm and compassionate setting . I have over twenty years experience working with adolescents with behavioral challenges, adult severe and persistent illness, and addictions.
I am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and can assist with probation and court ordered assessments for substance and mental health. I have also worked with numerous systems of care in the State of Hawaii and can be a good resource on various state, private, and non-profit resources.
I was raised on the Big Island and have a strong connection with community and cultural advocacy. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, specifically Narrative, Solution-Focused, and CBT approach.
