Hi, my name is Ralph Kyser, Licensed Professional Counselor in PA. I am a person-centered, Trauma-Focused cognitive behavioral therapist (TF-CBT) therapist, experienced in counseling children and adolescents primarily African-American males. My specialized areas of focus are trauma, PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, anger management, anxiety, grief, school issues, and conflict resolution.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based, psychodynamic, and TF-CBT Therapist. Utilize role-play, teach coping skills and calming strategies, encourage positive self-talk, and the principles of CBT including psychoeducation, parenting skills, and relaxation skills.
