I have substantial experience in the treatment of addictive disorders, trauma and dual diagnosis with both adolescents and adults. I've been able to assist many people obtain and sustain their recovery so they can establish a healthy lifestyle, improve their relationships and effectively manage life on life's terms. By taking a person-centered approach, I can meet you where you are in your life and help you implement a plan to achieve your recovery emotionally, mentally and physically.
I believe in the perspective that trauma whether past or present has a major impact on our moods, cognition and behavior. In order to resolve our current difficulties, we need to explore how our trauma history plays a role and work to resolve this together. I am also authorized by NYS OASAS to conduct Impaired Drivers Screenings and Assessments.
