When we foster a space of compassion and curiosity we have more room to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, our boundaries and our desires. By creating this intentional space, we can increase opportunities for choice in our lives. Using a combination of relational, psychodynamic and mindfulness techniques I will help you to understand your own emotional landscape, so you can feel better equipped to manage stressful moments in life and have more capacity for joy and meaning. I specialize in working with the LGBTQI population and also with couples of all constellations.
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples with sex and intimacy issues, including folks in the kink/sexual outsiders community. I have a high comfort level in talking about sex and feel lucky to be able to help others to find more pleasure, empowerment, and safety in these arenas.
I primarily work relationally but also use somatic and mindfulness interventions with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression or other struggles. Additionally I offer supervision and consultation to interns and therapists looking for a consultant who is attuned to issues of difference and who is curious, direct, thoughtful and compassionate.
