I want to help you feel calm, confident, and able to cope with life's challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD and trauma. Clients that I work with are often struggling with communication, boundaries, and centering other's needs above their own. I have experience and special interest in working with the Latinx population and lesbian women, as I have personal insight into these populations.
My ideal client is ready to set clear and realistic goals towards better mental health. They want to start putting themselves first and is just looking for support and encouragement in the process.
My approach is tailored to each client and their needs. My go-to's are narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and solution-focused therapy. I am trauma informed and a feminist therapist. My framework is viewing each client with the potential to gain an increased sense of autonomy and empowerment in their healing.
I am a therapist who is also in recovery and I am passionate about helping others in the same way that I've been supported.
