About
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy providing individual, couple, and family therapy in McLean, Virginia. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, and my Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland. I am currently a candidate in training to become a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist. I also teach free 6-week workshops for couples on communication and managing financial stress through the Together Program (TogetherProgram.org).
My biggest passion is facilitating healthy communication in couples, and using my training to identify hidden themes and cycles that prevent couples from enjoying a committed and loving relationship. Due to the shortage of male therapists, I also work with many men of all ages for individual counseling to address issues unique to the experiences of men.
In addition to couples and men, I also work with many adolescents and their parents. I tend to connect with them (or better them with me!) pretty well and it makes for enjoyable and fruitful therapy sessions. And lastly, I'm very comfortable working with people of diverse cultural and religious or philosophical backgrounds.

Together Program
This is an 8-week workshop for couples to learn how to cope with financial stress together. Sessions are facilitated by both a couple's expert and a financial expert. The topics in this workshop series cover stress management techniques, communication skills, financial literacy, and problem solving. The best part about this program is that it is currently funded through a government grant, allowing couples to enroll at no cost! For more information, please visit www.TogetherProgram.org
