About
Considering therapy can seem intimidating, but entering therapy is a courageous choice. You and your story deserve respect, so I commit to being fully present and to deeply listen so you feel seen and heard. I hold admiration for your uniqueness, including your strengths and struggles. Together we will discover strategies that empower you and that nurture your mind, body and spirit. In my own journey, I have received the gift of being deeply heard, so it is my honor to truly listen as you share and discover your new direction.
I served as a staff therapist at a free health clinic; directed a child advocacy program in the child welfare system; trained in spiritual and Clinical Pastoral care; and, served as a hospital chaplain. I enjoy providing support to individuals of various faiths or no faith background. I find it amazing that clients, friends and experiences teach me daily.
I will also support you by gently holding hope for you until you are ready to receive it. I believe so strongly in the power of hope that I named my beautiful, adult daughter Hope! There is no greater joy than supporting a fellow traveler who seeks hope, healing and peace.
