About

I am a New York based bilingual Creative Art Therapist. My graduate research involved deepening knowledge related to cultural rootlessness and finding meaningful belonging for individuals who experienced frequent relocation during developmental years. My professional experiences are related to working with children, families, pre-adolescents, and young adults both in individual and group setting where I utilize a wide variety of materials and sensory components to provide quality treatment for trauma, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, and grief.
I work to create a collaborative and open relationship where clients may find safety, comfort, and space to explore trauma’s of the past, roadblocks of the present, and new possibilities for the future. Im here to help you appreciate the true you, underneath perfectionism, expectations of others, and relationship patterns that are keeping you stagnated.
I believe that, for the most part, using an eclectic approach that utilizes use of creativity along with with a person-center and psychodynamic foundation allows maximal alternatives for idiosyncratic expression allowing clients to discover and develop their own authentic view of self as a key component for real growth.
