| Deutsch I offer, besides a caring psychotherapeutic relationship, a combined psychodynamic and Buddhist approach to psychology. Mindfulness meditation and therapy create a container to address feelings of anxiety, depression, worries about your relationships, existential and spiritual questions and also difficult themes like guilt, shame, embarrassment, fear, loneliness, loss, anger, despair and disgrace. I welcome talking about spiritual or existential themes like lack of meaning or connectedness, a longing for greater freedom, sense of fulfilled spirituality, a life with compassion and wisdom. I welcome clients from diverse ethnic, cultural and international backgrounds. LTBG community very welcome.
I am interested in longer term psychodynamic psychotherapy, with a Jungian bend and inclusion of Buddhist psychology and practice. I also teach mindfulness meditation, love to work with people from international backgrounds. l work with people facing life-threatening illnesses, glad to accompany them to the time when they die.
I work in a beautiful setting, quiet and in nature. Besides connecting as a psychotherapist with you, I teach mindfulness and compassion meditation. Mindfulness Meditation Group
Each week we gather for mindfulness meditation. The group starts with a 20 min talk, meditation instruction, Buddhist philosophy, then we meditate for 25 minutes. we end with a 20-minute compassion meditation. On the First Tuesday of the month, we have guest speakers at Trinity Episcopal Church. The group is ongoing, you can drop in, and free of charge
