My ideal client is an individual that has identified his/her life as out of balance and that he/she wants to address and find solutions to bring their life back into balance. I work with adults, children/adolescents but have successfully treated all ages of clients in both brief and long-term therapy. I see individuals, couples, and families. Problem areas include Depression; Anxiety; Sexual Addiction; Substance Abuse; and Trauma Resolution . I work with individuals, families, and couples. Throughout my years of practice, I have had specialized training in the above areas. I work to preserve and increase a client's dignity.
As my experience evolved, I took note that many cases were linked directly or indirectly to ADDICTION and past TRAUMATIC experiences, inclucing physical, emotional, & sexual abuse. I then began focusing my continuing education in these areas to better serve clients? I am now available for phone sessions upon approval of insurance, for IN residents.
For approximately 18 years I have treated all addictions ( substance abuse, sexual addiction, spending, gambling, etc.) as an illness.
I strive to provide an accepting atmosphere free from shame & blame. My client caseload is very diverse. Over the years, they have been a large part of my referral base.
