Not only am I a mental health clinician, but I am a licensed minister and a community-involved public servant. I believe that quality of life begins with understanding the importance of self-care.

We often rely on survival skills we learned as children to navigate the world. These skills helped us feel safe and taught us how to view and interact with the world. However, some of these ways of surviving now impede our ability to form deeper connections with others and ourselves. Our marriages become challenging, family interactions feel hollow, and we struggle to be vulnerable due to fear of judgment. This fear prevents us from connecting with others, setting boundaries, and making better decisions. Arthur E. Cash is a Psychotherapist and Mental Health Consultant. He has been practicing psychotherapy for close to 40 years specializing in the treatment of adolescents, adults, couples, and families. A graduate of Atlanta University, Mr. Cash received a Master of Social Work in 1982 and attended Yale University as a Fellow where he studied Family Psychiatry. Mr. Cash has been in private practice for 20 years and is currently practicing at The Practice of Arthur E. Cash, in East Longmeadow, MA.
