Life often throws us lemons. It is my goal to aid you in placing those lemons into cute vases and use them as decor. We can’t turn things into something they’re not, but we can re-frame them and change their meaning. I will work with you to help them build on your strengths to identify and achieve your goals. Therapy should be a space where you can talk and gain insight into what’s going on in your life and how you want to proceed. In therapy I draw on styles and techniques that are the helpful for your individual situation, providing a space where you have the authority and ability to grow in the direction you choose.

Growing up watching my grandmother struggle daily with mental illness, I naturally grew to have a heart for helping other people. I have spent the last decade of my life in the helping community and I believe that it is my life’s purpose to help people actualize the life they wish to have. I explain my position as a therapist by saying this to my clients, “It’s not my job to fix you because you are not broken. It’s my job to help you see things in a different way that will help you to function better” I welcome you as clients to embark on this journey of healing. It’s not always easy but the results with be so rewarding.

Welcome, you are not reading my bio by coincidence. I am not only an Air Force veteran, but I have 15 years of clinical expertise. I have extensive experience working with people of all backgrounds. Much like the sunflower that is directed by the sun, my goal is to help you navigate through life’s obstacles, restore the broken pieces, and ultimately direct you towards your light within. It is my belief that everyone has the capacity to change and grow. I want you to live your best life!

Life provides experiences that can be challenging and difficult to overcome. Sometimes these difficulties present in feelings of sadness, grief, worry, or relationship problems. Despite the problem there is hope to be able understand how these experiences can shape us to be stronger and better ready to handle life, so that we can live it to our fullest potential.
