I have been working with people for 30 years and look forward to helping clients create healthy relationships with me, themselves and with those in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals from all racial and cultural backgrounds who are motivated to make changes in their lives; to reduce painful reactions; and increase their understanding of what makes them feel happy, strong and self assured. I encourage clients to do homework assignments in between therapy sessions, in an effort to help clients take ownership of their process, and learn coping skills that will last beyond treatment.

I treat clients of all ages, from infancy to geriatrics, across the board of the human life span. My passion is to help those suffering from trauma, from depression, from PTSD and from anxiety, as well as a range of other mental, emotional and behavioral issues. I believe individuals are experts in their lived experiences. It is my privilege to learn from them and to imagine that the situation puts out a teaching thought.

I also do process groups for pre-teens and teens who need help navigating through life. I am a non-judgmental compassionate licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience working with children, families, teens, and adults. I am sensitive to cultural, multiethnic, and racial issues. I have experience with conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and crisis de-escalation.

My background is in Health Psychology and I bring a Mind-Body perspective to my work. With any change comes growing pains, which is why I specialize in working with professionals navigating important life transitions including career decisions, romantic relationships, friendships, and adjustment to parenthood. Often individuals present questions on how they can feel more fulfilled or satisfied in life. Or how to grow in confidence, or become more grounded in oneself.
