My therapeutic work w/clients focuses on exploring how family, religion, and cultures of origin influence how one learns to adapt in the world, both independently and when exploring new areas of intimacy and connection. I believe in the importance of my own self-awareness, acknowledging that the work in understanding one’s relationship to privilege regarding ethnicity, color, and other intersectional identities are a lifelong study.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology, (Body Psychotherapy) from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I have significant experience working with families, adolescents, children, and adults all over the world. Among other extensive work with children from 2 to 18 years, I have worked with orphans in Mexico that were survivors of significant trauma and abuse and in Colombia with a group of displaced women, survivors of war. My therapeutic focus centers on the integration of the body and the mind in order to help my clients flourish.
