My goal is to create a safe space for you to keep it real, explore who you are, and unlock your freedom. I use a sociocultural and trauma-informed lens in my work with clients. I like to create an environment that encourages self- awareness and promotes lasting change. I believe that we all have potential to obtain fulfillment. My goal as the therapist is to help support, empower, and advise so that you may achieve your goals and reach your fullest potential. Life can be hard and complicated, and each of our experiences are unique. Which is why I like to organize my orientation around my clients so that they can get the most out of our time. My intention is to create a nonjudgmental, collaborative space where my clients can unpack their truths and begin to heal.

Hello and congratulations! It takes true courage to venture out and explore the possibility of change. Change can be scary (our brains are wired that way for our safety!), but it can also be exhilarating. I’m in the business of changing lives and teaching people to thrive. Trained in a wide variety of psychotherapeutic modalities with over 9 years of counseling experience, I’ve helped many, many people learn how to live the life they’ve always dreamed of: to become a fully empowered human.

Growing up, I always knew that I was different. Intuitive, creative, sensitive and emotional, I knew that I didn't fit the mold I was given but I could not understand why. As a therapist, I work with others who feel that they do not fit - those of use who have felt discomfort in ourselves, discomfort in our families, discomfort in our communities. I believe that in order to truly understand who we are and who we want to become, we must explore the experiences that we’ve had and look at the impact they have had on us. Once we understand what we have to work with, we are free to chose the best ways to move forward on the journey.

I am a trans and queer therapist and I greatly believe in the power of having a therapist that shares identities or experiences similar to your own! I work with trans and queer youth and adults. Living in a marginalized identity brings many challenges and I offer support, skills, and a systems perspective to navigate those barriers-while also celebrating joy, resilience, successes, and all parts of your identity. I specialize in gender affirming therapy, trauma therapy, and working with historically marginalized folx. My first priorities are safety and trust, so that we can move towards healing and taking up space!

More and more people are having trouble knowing who they are or where they belong in life. What we were taught growing up or what we learn from society doesn't make sense or apply any longer. Because of this, we have difficulties from depression to questioning our own belief system. It may appear as confusion, anxiety, anger, or anything that disrupts our day-to-day life. When we feel this way it is a hurt or loss that is almost impossible to describe. My type of counseling presents people with an opportunity to understand why and how they think and feel the way they do and to go deeper than they could have possibly imagined.
