Hey y'all! I am queer, Black/African-American and Native Indigenous a part of the Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribe, neuroqueer (autistic), cis-gender, and currently abled-bodied. I am currently a candidate of a masters program and intern therapist.

Talk therapy for your intersecting identities. We are adept at navigating the difficult and complex conversations about your intersecting identities that can ebb and flow over one's life. In addition, we are committed to ongoing education and skilled at therapeutic intervention for psychological healing. I am a Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Denver and Boulder. Additionally, I received Marriage and Family Therapy training at Denver Family Institute where I worked extensively with couples, individuals, and families on damaging relationship patterns, strengthening emotional connections, and communication skills. I have extensive work with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, polyamory, consensual non monogamy, out of control sexual behavior, kink, and many other sex related issues. I also love to use spirituality & mindfulness such as meditative & grounding techniques.

Welcome! My name is Erica (she/they). I specialize in working with both individuals and couples who have a desire to transform their life and their relationships. I have a passion for supporting partners, families, and individuals in the queer community and who identify as neurodivergent. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I understand the unique challenges and triumphs that come with navigating experiences and relationships from these lived experiences. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where all expressions of love and identity are celebrated and to support clients in being their authentic self, embrace their identities, and build healthy relationships.

More and more people are having trouble knowing who they are or where they belong in life. What we were taught growing up or what we learn from society doesn't make sense or apply any longer. Because of this, we have difficulties from depression to questioning our own belief system. It may appear as confusion, anxiety, anger, or anything that disrupts our day-to-day life. When we feel this way it is a hurt or loss that is almost impossible to describe. My type of counseling presents people with an opportunity to understand why and how they think and feel the way they do and to go deeper than they could have possibly imagined.

I am a trans and queer therapist and I greatly believe in the power of having a therapist that shares identities or experiences similar to your own! I work with trans and queer youth and adults. Living in a marginalized identity brings many challenges and I offer support, skills, and a systems perspective to navigate those barriers-while also celebrating joy, resilience, successes, and all parts of your identity. I specialize in gender affirming therapy, trauma therapy, and working with historically marginalized folx. My first priorities are safety and trust, so that we can move towards healing and taking up space!

My intention is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to all clients, intentionally providing space for the queer community and their families. I am warm, approachable, humorous, and strengths-based with clients.
