My clients mainly seek healing from critical life transitions, trauma, anxiety, people-pleasing behaviors, and identity challenges. I also enjoy serving those experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and those working in helping professions. My clients seek a comfortable way to decrease and manage difficult emotions and issues.

When real life hits...I work with clients who are dealing with complicated real life issues: anger management, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, marital problems, adolescent issues and behavioral problems, chemical dependency, divorce recovery, trauma recovery, addictions and compulsive behaviors, and behavioral issues, providing prenatal and postpartum counseling.

Despite the vast amounts of challenges that life may throw our way, I truly believe that mental flexibility and perseverance may be cultivated by anyone who would seek it. It allows one to bend in the winds of change without breaking, while adjusting and evaluating new wisdoms and perspectives that may be applied to one's life situations. The mind of an individual can be as flexible as one's ability to imagine it to be, when given the support and permission to do so through my integrative and pragmatic approach to therapy.

My personal counseling philosophy begins with and ends with ​congruency, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. Regardless of ​their past, I believe that every individual deserves a safe space and ​opportunity to express and explore themselves unapologetically. I ​entered the counseling field because of the first-hand traumas I've ​experienced in my own life. I fully understand the effects of negative ​self-talk and distorted thinking that can impact an individual's life, and my ​hope is to be a helping hand to others through their journey.
