Many of my clients have struggled with various forms of anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and past trauma. Many of my clients have been women of color navigating challenges with family, work, grief, parenting and relationships, while attempting to cope with the stressors that come with these roles. Often, these clients are attempting to be the best version of themselves, and want assistance in identifying and strengthening ways to thrive, rather than merely survive.

My goal is to help you reach your best potential, to learn how to let go of the negativity that may be holding you back, and feel more confident within yourself. Together we will dig past the surface issues to identify what is creating these problems so that you can resolve them for good! Women seek me out to help build boundaries and self-confidence while trying to manage the stressors of life. Most of the women that come to see me believe, if they can "just do a little better" then they will eventually find the perfect balance; only to find, the amount of effort they put in doesn't change their outcome. I also work with people in the LGBTQ+ community and people that love someone in the LGBTQ+ community struggling to adapt to the changes happening in their life. Ultimately, maybe you're just seeking a sense of self or belonging while dealing with emotional consequences of being rejected by toxic mainstream culture.

Different people need different things at different times in their lives. For the most part, my style is person-centered, which feels more like two friends talking. We take the time to get to know one another, your unique interests and what makes you tick. We utilize this information to personally tailor our time together.

My passion for helping others stems from seeing the steady growth and sense of peace that comes with the therapeutic process. Together, we will find what will aid your journey. I recognize we all have different backgrounds, needs, and goals and therefore, it is important to create an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment. I have been working with the members of our community for over eight years and have partnered with various agencies throughout the city to ensure success for my clients. Throughout my education and experience, I have found that the therapeutic approaches I favor, but not limited to, are Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I would like to utilize my experience gained throughout my career to empower clients from all age ranges with-in the Lexington community.
