**Now Accepting New Clients** I see adults and adolescents who typically present with anxiety and/or depression. If I had to name just one specialty, it would be anxiety. Most people suffer some form of it at some point in their lives. When left untreated, it can lead to more severe symptoms and a whole host of diagnoses. I practice primarily Cognitive Behavioral techniques. I will talk to you about your beliefs, expectations, and how you experience the world. I'll teach you to be more accepting of yourself, so you can stop judging and reacting from created stories. I will also help you improve foundational behaviors.

To the best of my ability, I want to help you work with and/or work through whatever concerns or struggles that you may have. Taking that first step in finding a therapist who is a good fit can be one of the most anxiety inducing steps. I strive to provide a counseling environment where you will feel safe, trusting, and comfortable enough to be able to openly talk about the issues that are important to you. I have experience treating clients who struggle with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other factors, such as past trauma, that limit their overall well being.

Eight years ago I found myself evaluating an unknown future after divorce. My healing journey after this unexpected loss ignited a passion for emotional, relational, and spiritual wellness. I knew I wanted to help others experiencing trauma, pain, and grief. While developing national support groups for single parents (www.soloparent.org), I returned to school to fulfill a new life calling as a counselor.
