Sound Body Mind Therapy is my vision of providing a healing space that is empowering, non-pathologizing and non-judgmental. It is a holistic psychotherapeutic approach, that is rooted in the understanding that we are all natural healers. The goal of therapy is to empower you to set into motion your own inner healing ability. You deserve joy, peace and wellness. While life is often tough, it is possible to live from a place of increased resource, clarity, confidence and compassion.
I am a psychotherapist who is licensed as a clinical social worker in New York, New Jersey and Florida. I hold a master's in Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. I am a level 3 trained Certified Internal Family Systems therapist, and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I am also trained as a musician and a bodyworker.
I work in a trauma-informed way that honors each person's uniqueness. I have found that "symptoms" were often, at one point, adaptive responses, that deserve to be approached with curiosity and compassion. I would be happy to learn if and how I may support you on your journey.
