My services are tailored to individuals struggling with a variety of mental health disorders (depression, anxiety, panic, mood disorder) and substance abuse issues. I work with all populations and provide home based therapy and outreach-- to the elderly-- and those diagnosed with complicated medical issues. My services are geared toward assessing one's baseline and identifying specific strengths, coping, limitations, vulnerabilities and grounding skills. I also incorporate the spiritual element of healing--which fosters personal growth for recovery.

Dr. Grasso works with children (8+), adolescents, and adults struggling with: Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, emerging adulthood, trauma, lgbtqia+, identity issues, marginalization stress, and body-image concerns. Dr. Grasso utilizes both a person-centered and goal-directed approach to assist individuals in meeting their healing potential. She applies techniques from evidence-based treatment models and holistic approaches to support individuals in reducing symptoms and regaining a sense of control and mastery in their life.

My ideal client is someone who needs to have those difficult conversations and requires a safe environment to have them in. Clients do not always have a goal initially and that is perfectly okay. This is not about having a goal as it is about beginning the journey.

My name is Michael and I have worked as a clinical social worker and behavioral health therapist for the past 7 years. I attended BU and Simmons where I received my bachelors degree in Psychology and my Masters in Social Work. After graduation, I was hired at Lahey Hospital. I worked in the outpatient oncology department and inpatient liver transplant unit. I provided 1 on 1 mental health counseling to patients and their families newly diagnosed with cancer and end-stage liver disease. I have also worked in several virtual settings including Thriveworks and Better Help. I love my job and feel honored working with people everyday.
