I believe in the inherent wholeness of the individual and the capacity of the human being to meet, learn, and grow from life's experiences. I view depression and anxiety as messengers asking us to turn toward our grief, tend our pain, and realign ourselves with our heart's true desires. These things can be difficult to do alone. The purpose of the therapeutic relationship is to provide a safe container for healing and exploration. My desire is to support every client in finding innate resilience and felt ease, whatever their current circumstances.
I have worked with many clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD in my ten years as a certified yoga therapist. I work from a somatic lens, which means that I understand the ways that trauma and stress express themselves through the body. I help clients reconnect with the intelligence of the body by weaving somatic practices into therapy.
I have walked through my own versions of deep loss and redemptive joy and now view them both as the path toward wholeness, fulfillment and maturation. I'm here to help you discover the meaningful journey that is the arc of your own well-lived lifetime.
