Hi I’m Rachel, a Licensed Professional Counselor and proud owner of Lavande Counseling Services. My overall approach to therapy is collaborative and science based. What does that mean? I aim to help clients learn tools to assist growth and move toward change while also creating a supportive and empathetic environment. I have the ability to be flexible with treatment approaches because of 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Whether you’re dealing with general life stress/transitions or you have specific goals, I aim to work with you on your needs.
I am an Anxiety Spectrum and OCD specialist. I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as a primary treatment tool. I am a member of the International OCD Foundation. I am a designated LGBTQIA+ affirming provider. My approaches are trauma informed. Currently I only work with adults 18+.
